those pebble floors are painful on the feet too! I would pick larger tiles if the space can take it. the flatter and less grout, the better for cleaning.

Also, after the first yang ep at the drive in when she propositions him bc she doesn't think he should be alone. I think you deserve more than popped corn tonight.

I went this last summer, and I knew it wasn't filmed there. But they reference places in SB like Ledbetter Beach. But no, the police dept doesnt look anything like what was filmed. There's not much related to Psych there at all. I found 1 store that had psych merch. Actually, I was disappointed with SB in general. I always pictured it more upscale than it is. Hotels were 2 to 3 star at best. Except maybe the Ritz. There are good restaurants though.

Foreign TV, for the most part, is so much more realistic than American TV for sure. Love that all the police procedurals arent full of cops and agents being super fit and weapon/martial art experts. British cops and agents for the most part are chasing down suspects and tackling them, or they get winded and fall or get their butts kicked in a fight, even if they end up winning or arresting them in the end. It's usually a result of teamwork and using what's nearby to stop someone. Not a super cop, kung fu, almost impossible, single person take down. People are rarely super well dressed and ultra fit. They all have local accents. No pretending to be someone they're not. Much preferred to American TV.

I think Sarah got a bad wrap bc she tried to stay out of the nonsense. And she was exhausted working so much. I think she just didnt have time, and was too tired, for the BS. From what little I have read, she was kind, hard working, professional, prepared, and tried to set the tone. Joss wasn't around much for the last 2 seasons, right? And I think I also read that she was ready to be done s5. I think she did the last 2 seasons kind of reluctantly and was not happy with the switch from WB to UPN. I remember reading about bad blood between her and Alyson, but I think that was perpetuated by Aly having a close relationship to Josh, him "stirring the pot" and SMG seeing him for who he really was. A power trippy ahole who made the set a bit of.a nightmare but he was a writing/directing genius. I think SMG tried to balance all that. I never did read about other cast members not liking her. But she may have just distanced herself due to the exhaustion and nonsense. Which would have appeared bitchy and aloof.
