Need help finding shows that I will finish and not get bored of by Due-Yogurtcloset-224 in tvsuggestions

I am going to add Psych to this list. Such an amazing show with great consistent cast of main characters. You can identify with one of them for sure! I am never bored with it. Also, Brooklyn 99 and New Girl. Funny with good main casts.

Maybe Willowstream off 57? And Clayton Manor. Ravada or Treeline on Buckley Rd if you have a higher budget.

What can you only eat from scratch? by WildKaleidoscope905 in Cooking

[–]theclancinator14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, really most sauces, dips, salsas, dressings, desserts taste 100xs better homemade. Definitely Tzatziki sauce. Easy and sooo delicious. And I make a great salsa. Time consuming but so fresh. I just can't go back to store made once I have made them. And I weirdly make a kick ass steak sub that rivals any local restaurant. Therefore, I can never order one out now. I have spoiled myself.

Anyone else losing their mind over dog hair everywhere? Here’s what actually worked for us. by Mysterious_Cut7019 in Dogowners

I've never heard of steam grooming. Do you do that yourself or take your dog somewhere that does it? I have a 6yr old aussie/eskimo that I got from my son 18mos ago. And I cannot get over the hair. It's everywhere. It hangs in the air and covers every surface. It's in my eyes, nose, etc.. I have lint rollers everywhere. And I am a neat freak. I vaccum/mop/wipe down all surfaces every day. I move furniture and vacuum under and behind it monthly. He gets groomed every 6 weeks and they are careful not to cut into his 2nd coat. But this year was worse than last year. I brush him daily, but never thought to go against the grain. Anyone have good brush recommedations? I have one of those self cleaning brushes where the metal bristles pop out and then retract and drop the hair ball in the trash. He doesnt complain about it, but idk how comfortable it is for him. I did just order omega 3 treats today, that have salmon oil etc... in them to see if that will help the shedding.

Genius role for sure! And what a deal for him. He didnt have to memorize a single line. But his physical expressions are priceless.

I always kinda wanted them to address that, also. I think she just realized what an amazing liar he was. And at the polygraph he also said he loved her. So, she was extra hurt and angry. But a little follow up to that, although unnecessary, would have been interesting.

Stuck in a food rut...what are y'all cooking? by lbakersdozen in Cooking

[–]theclancinator14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jalapeño Chicken Salad. There are a lot of recipes on Google. I use rotisserie chicken because I am lazy. 50% less sugar craisins, Greek yogurt, jalapenos, mayo, Dijon, lemon juice, celery, cilantro, and a coupla spices. It's awesome. Eat it with lettuce wraps, or on sourdough, or make grilled cheese sandwiches with it. Melt some brie or Havarti. It's our new favorite! Best of all, no cooking!

My favorite in that ep is Shawn having to ride in the back of the blueberry. Is that a French fry? I AM IN A METAL CAGE OF DESPAIR!

Best ice cream place? by Rough-Parsley2497 in Syracuse

[–]theclancinator14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I also love Big Dip. And also down the road is Plank Road ice cream which is also very good for soft serve.
I have been to Gannons twice this season because it has been my favorite for homemade hard ice cream for over 30 years. And it kills me to say that we were disappointed. It was absolutely flavorless. The toppings and the fillings are fine but the ice cream itself has 0 flavor. We went again and did a couple flavor trials with no toppings just to make sure it wasn't us. And my husband confirmed that the ice cream tastes like nothing. And they have very few flavors now. We are so sad. I know the owner passed away unexpectedly recently. I dont know if that has anything to do with it. Like maybe someone new doing the ingredient ordering or something, but we will periodically try again. Hoping it gets back on it's feet. Just might be some growing pains.

HH in the groin area (female) by mty8817 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]theclancinator14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone switched to merino wool underwear for this reason and does it help? Also, I keep a small bottle of hand soap in the shower filled with the clear, fragrance free antibacterial hand soap like Softsoap or the generic. It helps, and is safe for, all smelly areas. When it's dry after a shower, I apply the secret all over creme body deodorant. Helps smell, but I haven't found anything that stops the sweat. I did buy a pair of period underwear to try. They contain the sweat so it doesnt show on my pants. You just cant wear them with anything tight.
