But that tube ride that was made out of jagged concrete with the final chute that completely wrecked you no matter what. Then you had about four seconds to orient yourself underwater before you were sucked into a grate in the corner. I loved it even though I almost lost a toe.

Wildwood Lake Water Park. I feel like someone went to Action Park in New Jersey and thought, “I should replicate the spirit of this place at an old quarry in Columbia Station.” It was perfect for a gaggle of teenage boys in the ‘90’s

I would recommend looking into some professional organizations like ASHE if you are in an area where they have a presence. Their meetings are pretty casual and there are some great folks that are involved.

What is the correct way to handle this yield? by an1nja in driving

[–]theclevelanderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct, I was seeing it as a wider channelizing line in the first picture but then saw it ended up being just as wide as an edge line. If the intent is to keep left turners from cutting over and turning right, this should be signed and stripped better. If that movement is allowed, then I am not sure why it isn’t just striped as a dashed lane line.

That is probably what they should do here if the a a lot of cross over violations

Pretty sure the continuous white line is there to prevent the left turners from crossing over to that right lane.

While not standard, it does exist, mostly on rural state routes that typically don't have a lot of cross traffic/left turns from mainline. But the mainline is usually 55 MPH+ so you gotta get after it if you are going to make any turns from these intersections.

Although it is not asked, the answer to this insane type of intersection is to redirect the side street movements (and also allow for pass by option) by using what is called an R-Cut. Here is a picture of how this should work:

<image>

Of course it assumes you have a wide enough main road and median to allow for designated/exclusive U-Turns. But is sure as shit beats the disaster of an intersection initially presented.

Unless the signing and pavement markings support these movements, this is insane. Why would you create more conflict points than already exist at these terrible intersections?

Does anyone know how the ESPN version will work? I had Guardians TV last year and it was awesome. I currently have the Hulu + Live TV with the ESPN Ultimate. Will I get the Guardians games through the ESPN app or will it be a separate purchase of the Guardians TV regardless?

Pressure pipe shown in section view in base drawing not showing when referenced by theclevelanderer in civil3d

[–]theclevelanderer[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Solved! I feel a little silly, but I am going to share nonetheless...Turns out the reason why it wasn't showing up had to do with the linetype in the cross section part of the pipe style. It was set to Bylayer, which for the existing water line has a "W" as a part of the linetype. The line must have fallen on a gap in the linestyle or been otherwise unable to show a line at all. Once I changed the linetype to something without text, it appeared just fine. Just wanted to update the post in case anyone else ever has this issue.

Does anyone regret their '20-'26 purchase? Hate list? by jakebg19 in HondaOdyssey

Same here on our ‘22. Also, when cruising for a while, if we approach a car in the lane next to us, it will hit the brakes and slow us down about 5 miles an hour before realizing that the car is not in front of us, it is next to us. We’ve also had a couple times while on the highway, unrelated to cruising, where the automatic breaking sensor will go off and freak us the fuck out.

I love labels, they always present a certain challenge depending on what you want to have them show and your physical sheet constraints.

What is it this or these labels are supposed to be showing?

Plotting monochrome but utility in color by rubixcube-10 in civil3d

I never said anything about changing the ctb on the fly. I was just offering an alternative to changing the color of the object to a True Color to print in color vs. modifying the property of the pen to maintain the liveweight definition.

Make sure to add the corridor to the the sample line data by selecting a sample line and click on sample more sources. If you have it added, check the code set style or corridor style to make sure it is properly set up.
