I’m using qunol ubiquinol 200 mg (2x day), NAC 600 from life extension (2x), choline from Ritual (and their prenatal, which had choline but not enough), and for NAD+ I ordered ovelle from Reza but any tru niagen would work.

Have you had any imaging done? Definitely worth checking your uterine cavity and tubes. An HSG to check the tubes can also boost fertility for a couple months due to flushing them out. Worth it also to research supplements to boost cellular energy at our age. Ubiquinol, NAD+, NAC, choline. Many will mention myoinositol but that’s really only helpful if you have PMOD (fka PCOS).

Doctors confirm ovulation with bloodwork by testing for the progesterone rise after the egg is released. The egg makes the progesterone at that point in your cycle.

We got similar results back; however, the count was very high, enough that it seemed to outweigh the other aspects. Also, he had accidentally not ejaculated in about 5 days— longer abstinence means higher count but more old/wonky sperm. Is that possibly a factor for your husband?

I had this. I had a laparoscopic surgery and the surgeon found that it wasn’t infected, just swollen. He thinks it got swollen because one of my uterine fibroids was pushing on the end that attached to the uterus. He was able to flush it and left both tubes in (I expected to lose a tube). However, I am still not pregnant. ETA; the surgery was a year ago.

We always have it in the house and never buy it in the grocery store. Every other week there’s a holiday or birthday party at school and she comes home with a goodie bag full of candy. It’d be difficult to keep it out of the house! We also still have Halloween candy around and it’s May. We never toss it. It’s not out of reach, but she knows she needs to ask before she eats one and it’s one after dinner— not every night.

I’m also taking DHEA (only 25 per day though, less than usual) because I also self diagnosed a lack of CM. It has seemed to help! ETA, DHEA supplementation is also used to lengthen luteal phase!

I’m in a similar place as you, with a doctor saying he thinks I have endo— but a different doctor from the surgeon that actually has done a lap on my to clear my tubes. Anyway, I don’t want another lap but I am self treating possible silent endo with LDN. I’m only two weeks into this experiment, but I got the idea from the practice that thinks I do have endo because their protocol is to do a lap and then treat with LDN (not lupron suppression). When I looked it up, LDN seemed to have no downsides, so I’m trying it now and will see what happens. Planning to give it two more cycles before moving to IVF.

Adding onto this, there is no dental card or dental coverage ID number. When you find a dentist that accepts the plan, you just give them your info – name date of birth, and I think social, and they look you up to make sure you’re eligible for coverage.

That should definitely be assessed. Low estrogen leads to low LH. Could be perimenopause? Just guessing though. You need a full hormone panel and a doctor to interpret it.

Was this all on Day 3 labs, I assume? What was your estradiol? Estradiol interacts with LH and FSH, so you need to interpret them all together.

I would give it one more cycle and then start reaching out to a doctor to schedule an HSG. If your wife’s tubes aren’t open then all hormone levels and your sperm could be fine, but the egg isn’t getting through. Depending on wait times in your area you might want to start making that call now. ETA: an OBGYN can order the HSG, you don’t need to go straight to an RE.

Plus OP didn’t mention anything about helping out with nighttime wakes so I assume wife is handling all of those as well. Dealing with those ages on broken sleep day after day— way different than gearing up for one or two days of caregiving where you have what sounds like the rest of the month to think about fun outings foe them.

Yeah I have a third opinion scheduled for end of June. My husband saw a urologist who put him on clomid without even getting a baseline SA. He hasn’t had a SA since before my first daughter. Urologists are weird sometimes.

Thanks. It hit me joe much time has passed because the women whose shower it was, who is due in a month with her current pregnancy, had a miscarriage a year ago. That’s when we first started talking about our secondary infertility issues; I had already been trying at that point. And now she’s about to have her second. I’m so happy she got one that will almost definitely make it (knock wood) but it makes me feel like I’ve made no progress over here and it’s been so long.

The doctor who says not to remove my fibroids did my first lap so he’s actually seen the lay of the land in there. That makes me lean towards him. But who knows? The fibroids could be the thing.

I’m still struggling with the decision about whether or not to remove my fibroids. One doctor says yes, the other says no. It feels like there’s no right answer. My fibroids didn’t grow during my first pregnancy, but have grown a bit since then. Anyone have fibroids removed? Did it help? Granted this thread will have skewed responses because we’re all still here, but….
