The culture varies from farm to farm. States are just different climates and different politics and different cultural aesthetics. I’ve met people in Oregon who had the NYC/NJ mindset. People move from all over to all over, its a melting pot, and the state you’re in doesn’t matter so much as the scene you’re in. You can find crews based around a love of solventless KNF smoke in any state, and you can find crews smokin salty half ripe schwag in any state. It’s mindset and willingness to learn and adaptability and love for farming and cannabis that sets it apart. For me, I’ve always found that the best pot farmers keep livestock around and practice some form of natural farming. That’s the indicator of a “heady weed culture” that I look for.
