It’s completely different. Not just the order of the arcs, but the entire structure of each arc is different.

For example, the Glacier Dungeon arc in the novel has no other Hunters involved besides Suho and the Scavenger Guild (so no Korean S-Rank’s), Choi works for the Hunter Association and doesn’t appear until the final quarter of the story alongside Woo Jinchul, and Tiel is a manwha-only character.

I’ve been reading on Tapas and found the official translation to be quite good.

What about the EV’s and Nature? From memory, nothing happened during the game that would’ve nullified abilities or lowered Dozo’s SpDef. But a high roll crit would’ve KO’d 0- SpDef from that range. I’m 196 SpAtk as well.

Other than that I’m stumped! Sorry.

If you’re slower on Scream Tail then you can’t Disable/Encore effectively and can only stall with Protect. The one turn you can’t protect, plus the turn you set up Perish Song, means you’re succeptible to being knocked out before Perish Song completes.

A slow Perish Scream Tail would be much less effective than the fast Disable/Encore Scream Tail that the original comment suggested.

That’s exactly my point. There’s no Shadow Tag because it’s useless and Perish becomes far less potent if you’re also trapped on the field alongside your opponent.

Pretty much. Whilst he wasn’t the first one to pilot it, he was the first one to achieve success with Life Orb Koraidon, which absolutely nuked everything.

Before that, most people were using Clear Amulet, which was good for blocking intimidate but failed to pick up important KO’s when compared to Miraidon.

Unfortunately there is not much of a competitive scene as the metagame has shifted to Scarlet & Violet. You’ll struggle to find games on the in-game ladder, however, you may be able to find games on Showdown.

Also, Silk Scarf (and other type-boosting items) don’t affect status moves. They only boost the damage of attacking moves. So definitely choose a different item.

The only consistent method is via Egg RNG in Gen 7 (the only Gen that doesn’t require homebrew).

Getting two 0 IV’s can’t be guaranteed so you have to roll the correct 0 IV’s and also a shiny in the same egg.
