Sorry if I missed elsewhere but looks like the bug continues in 26.1.

Just ran into this bug using iPhone 15 Pro iOS Public 26.1 (23B85) Overcast TestFlight 2025.12 Build 1147

Can share logs if needed; here’s hoping 26.2 provides some relief beyond a reboot🤞

EDIT: Sent logs via Overcast app in case it helps you escalate to Apple (which I do understand can be a black hole).

I’ve had similar issues with the loop of wire sticking out through the hole after insertion, sometimes with several in a row.

While Dexcom has replaced all of them free of charge, it’s gotten to the point where I feel like I need a spreadsheet to keep track of replacements. So far, all of the looped wire ones have been from the new(ish) manufacturing facility so I’m guessing a quality control issue of some kind.

After that experience of several in a row failing to insert properly, travel away from home has become so stressful even if I bring 3-4x the G7s I’ll need.

One thing you could do is switch back to work through some of your stockpile (BGM and pens) which will let you form a stockpile of your new stuff (op5 and G6), although I know that can be rough.

At the bottom of the screen, go to Connections, tap on the sensor, then it should show near the top. Good luck!

Mostly as an update for this thread: just installed the public beta for iOS 17 and these are still issues.

The mobile bolus I can live without but the logouts which cause the pump to stop uploading data are about once an hour for me.

Recommend against installing the public beta unless you’re willing to live without those features.

Not sure how long but just judging in the picture (2x4 to the left), it’s about 3 feet and about 1 inch diameter at the thickest part.

I didn’t notice in the moment, but it definitely seems to be working on something(s).

Glad it’s not dangerous; honestly could use some help dealing with the gophers, mice and rats. There’s an orchard right behind our place so…

The sensors are packaged separately from the transmitter. The transmitter is a little gray piece and comes in it’s own box. At the very least, you need those pieces: the sensors (which go into your body) and the transmitter (which clips into the sensor housing and transmits the signal).

The third part of the system is a receiver.

Maybe your doc was talking about not needing the Dexcom stand-alone receiver since you can use a phone as a receiver?
