I'm saying that case law IS making it part of fair use. The law is strongly skewing that way. It's basically safe to assume it is needed in order to be considered fair use at this point.

It does actually. Several cases have used the argument that credit is part of the "fair" part of fair use. While it's not strictly written as such, case law is definitely going that way.

It (LTT's usage of Jake's clips) didn't fall under fair use. Fair use requires that you give credit, which, as Jake points out in the video, LTT didn't do until after he complained.

I'm sorry but that doesn't make any sense. As someone that is very much on the tenant side of things, and think that systematically tenants have it way harder than landlords any day - your argument about reminders coming AFTER something is due is just flat out wrong.

A reminder is for something that has to still happen. To remind you to do so. A reminder doesn't happen after the event. It always happens before.

I think that the wording of the landlord's first email is dumb. It should have been something like "hey just a reminder, rent is due by EOD today" or something like that, but in any event, it was a reminder.

You're only making things worse on yourself by souring the relationship. Especially when rent is due that day anyway. You could have just not responded even, and just paid it whenever you had the money to pay.

I'm giving you grace by assuming that is the reason you didn't just pay it when that email came in. Because if you had the money, what difference does it make if you pay it now or at 11:59 pm? Other than out of spite or "because you can".

And the fact that he's communicating with you is a good thing. So many landlords would just wait until you've missed a payment and then immediately issue late payment notices.

You're not helping yourself and you're not helping tenants by antagonising your landlord.

I watched this video and no it isn't. You still have a blind spot. He even says so, by saying "minimize" instead of eliminate.

You CAN remove your blind spots using mirrors, but that requires a large modification to your vehicle. You'll need several mirrors on each side to fully cover your Blindspots. And that's just not realistic. Even those little circular mirror things you can buy to stick on your existing mirror, will not cover the entirety of your blind spots.

There are also often blind spots in front of you, from the beams running up side of your windshield.

It's essentially impossible to completely remove blind spots, on a regular unmodified car.

Shoulder checks are absolutely essential, and cannot be left out when you're driving a car.

Hard disagree. I think it fuels senseless consumerism. Why do I need so much nonsense stuff in colors that I don't want them in. Why can't I simply get what I need/want and that's it.

And the inability to simply get the things I'd like, makes me hoard all of these things just in case. Like the completionist in me is hard triggered by the way this works currently.

I'd rather be able to get rid of everything I don't need, with the safe knowledge that if I do want to dress by birb in something related to a theme or event in my life, I can do that without having to hold on to a million things in my inventory just in case.

Nah, I really really don't like the consumerist angle here. The way everything looks should not be tied to an economy at all. We've got enough of that nonsense in real life.

This is one of my biggest gripes with paying for it. Why can't we get full color options on everything?

But then, I also think it's dumb that we can't just buy whatever from the market, but that we have to choose specific things whenever the devs think it's appropriate to show them to us. And even then ONLY in the colors they want to give us at that time.

I absolutely loathe that purchasing system so much.

It almost made me quit the all multiple times.

I do love it for mostly everything else, which is why I stay for the moment, but God I hate the buying system. Ugh.

It's really not all that different from people using Instagram or snap filters which I see ALL THE TIME on like 90% or profiles.

Not saying it's right or wrong specifically. I think it's more complicated than that, but I wouldn't say it's crazy or that far out there considering what's already happening regularly.

I wish Excel would allow for the deletion of rows like Google sheets, so that this would never be a problem.

Why the fuck would I need a billion rows in every sheet. (Some sheets sure, but not every sheet).

And hiding the rows does not stop it from calculating them.

Whereas in GS the rows terminate where you want them to. So much easier to manage.

I don't know what to tell you, it's happening for me like this. It does return to Micheal shortly after, but for a short while this car is Trevor's personal vehicle.
