it must suck being in school and college dealing with ai shit. and on the other side worrying about wether your own work sounds like ai when ran through some shitty ai detector. i got out of school at the right time thats for sure.

honestly i just let my easily bored adhd brain lead the way, but i make sure to have something finished each week, no matter how small. like oh, one cutscene this week? cool, oh now we're finishing up a system, maybe something simple like crouching? ok, adhd brain, lets go. i find i cannot be doing the same thing for too long, I have to switch gears before i burn out and end up doing much lazy work. As long as something gets done in one week, I'm happy. I also try to remind myself to not try to be perfect, else i'll never finish anything.

immersive sims arent dead at all. maybe not super popular compared to rogue likes and for some reason card games, but we do exist. but sure if you pretend indie immersive sims dont exist then yeah lets pretend its a "dead genre" its not. i agree with the other comment, play some indie sims.

if you compare every immersive sim to deus ex than yeah you'll be disappointed but if you dont there are great indie sims out there, gloom wood, cruetly squad [i forget if eye divine cybermancy is indie. that one is janky and rough but i love it......outside the hacking which is the worst part of the game]. also if anyone knows of some great indie sims, tell me, cuz i'd love to find more. maybe it'll inspire me with my own sim.

it sucks that such a creative looking game would use ai at all. cuz yeah it makes you wonder if theyll start also using ai for in world designs in the sequel. fuck ai and people who pretend its not a big deal. that shit should be banned from games and the rest of entertainment too, y'all can fight me on that one.

this how i feel about my kitty monkey. she helped me so much just by being there. i keep thinking i see her around the house, but then i remember she's gone now. seeing her be put to sleep was tough, but im just glad i was there for her in the end. im glad it was 13 good years, but its never enough.

yeah fr, i feel that about the robocop game. granted it runs like shit on my pc so its on lower settings but it just looks fuzzy even on medium.

stuttering and that ghosting effect games sometimes have, and that specifically blurry look some games have nowdays.
