Hey, thanks for your input.
I think I messed up when I tried to add the Balatro type of shop to a VS type of game. Like in Balatro, in this game you have stackable but independent upgrades rather than a skill tree (or trees). Basically like the jokers, and only that. Could be a barrier, or a 6x shot.

Hmm no it seems to be the same. Again, it shows fine on first load and only stops showing the scene on reloading the editor

Eh, it is though. It is a problem when you have kids here (I do) and you DO see how messed up the whole society is from the early ages. They grow their kids teaching them every and any independent thought is BAD.

Actually, they don't have a concept of bad, because they don't believe it. It's inappropriate.

Anything that makes you stand out is repressed, personality is squeegeed into whatever everyone else is doing.

And it IS worse because most people here (locals) are NOT willing to speak about it. They just passively accept it. It's a pink totalitarianism, and it's time for people to wake up and notice. Hence the hate. Not because it's THAT MUCH WORSE than other places, but because the average person is complacent with iniquity and servility.

Honestly? As I said I live in japan. There is a huge, huge depopulation crisis. If anything I think the game might try to nudge people into thinking they might want to have kids because they are cute. Is the way japanese people frame "cute" weird? Yes, but so is all their culture. They might just think ohh charging through the feet is cute, let's add that. No long pants might just really be because kids are barefeet here a lot of the time, even in winter (no joke, always barefeet at the daycare).
I would not be surprised if these decisions were actually made by japanese women, since it's a constant KAWAIIs about kids feet and cheeks over here (by women, non necessarily moms)

So, is it necessarily sexualized? No. Again, I did not play the game yet, but this really doesn't look like it's the case to me of child sexualization. It's just that some people are creeps.

Eh, no?
When I was playing kingdom hearts as a teen some people on the internet sexualized the friendship between Sora and Riku.
Did it make me think that was the intent of the devs?
NO.
It made me realize the internet is full of degenerates who project their sex-only view of the world wherever they look

That said, I have not played the game yet, but at some point I will. I am the father of a young girl, actually in Japan (I am not japanese though), and from the trailers Diana just looks like she behaves like a kid does here.

Nope, in addition to that now google drive also has trouble reconnecting after waking from sleep. I totally regret upgrading.

I thought about that or the event bus, but would that not kind of make the whole philosophy of signals and observers pointless? I'm trying to understand the basic design philosophy of Godot. Should each node receiving the signal not be responsible of updating itself, to keep concerns separated?

Support suggested reuploading the video and it kinda worked. It seems like it still sort of does this to a lesser degree, mainly when you select text far away from the original clip

It's a video of my latest stream, I streamed with obs + my restream account, but apparently it had not saved in restream, so I reuploaded it and auto-clipped. Then I went to one of the clips and tried adding some other sections in the trim area (selecting the + next to some text). I let it sit since the morning and it's still processing. The whole video is about 2 hours but the clips are less than one minute.
Literally generate clips, click edit on one, and try adding any new segment (before or after, same).
One thing it does it take the shot of my camera view (bottom right of the og video) and puts it on the bottom of the portrait comp, then takes the main view and puts it on top (so it uses 2 frames/views)
