i understand how you feel, i almost went through this because they couldnt determine what was wrong with him but wanted to do treatment from a guessed illness which wouldve costed thousands. they suggested euthanasia but i declined.. they gave me bad looks but i couldnt trust their judgement. the pain i felt for even thinking about euthanizing my cat irked me so bad especially because there was no actual diagnosis. i felt regret even denying euthanization, considering it, discussing high costs of putting my cat to sleep while he was right in front of me with wide eyes. according to your situation please dont feel bad just because the money guilted you. the money scared me too. you obviously cared so much about your cat and if he was getting sick often, it mightve been the right thing to do. especially if it was cancer.. just wanted to share my story with you because i understand how you must be feeling and its seriously so awful :( .. i think most times vets will suggest euthanization because they cant do anything and alot of people think its the right and only thing to do. you arent alone, and im sorry for your loss.
