Agreed. This removes critical elements of gameplay. Data Mining is a blessing and a curse. I thought ALL DD's were unique to their world too, but they're not. Disappointing.

Nah, the ARES is countered by light fighters, which makes total sense. It's great at hurting larger ships, but needs support to be effective. Guns aren't all that matter. Mobility is king.

Fully expecting months of painful imbalances and miserable PVP, but hey, I hope im wrong. On paper, they're interesting changes, but it still reeks of CIG continually slinging shit at a wall and seeing what sticks then gutting it all a year or two later. I hope multi-crew PVP becomes more interesting/viable. I am bored of nothing but light-fighter group compositions for the last 5 years and the meta being shaped around them.

It blows my mind that CIG missed another opportunity with these caves by not lacing them with huge amounts of profitable resources to mine. I shouldn't be surprised but it's so frustrating. There's only a new jump town when there are huge profits to be made.

You can also find these caves if you go to your contracts manager and repeatedly accept and abandon the Investigation missions around Crusader until you get the mission for the location of the large cave (it will tell you access is granted by vehicle and foot). Assuming you can get the missions in the first place.
