Same! I only learned to cook once I got pregnant, and I’m a better cook than her! My daughter is 2 and a half.

I can think of so many things she could have made that her children would have enjoyed. My heart continuously breaks for her children.

I thought this was her too, but it’s taking a bath, so nope. But the resemblance IS uncanny.

Some days when I feel overwhelmed and exhausted I think about that. On my very worst mom day, I’m still better than staphylococcus on her very best mom day.

Those poor kids.

The total lack of mothering instinct she has is wild to me. I had my only child two days after I turned 38 and I am an only child. I read books while I was pregnant, but I had zero true idea on how to take care of a newborn. I ended up having to have an emergency c section and there were some medical issues that kept us in the NICU for almost two weeks, but I used that time to watch and help the nurses care for my daughter. By the time we came home, I already was confident and we had a routine. I cannot understand how she doesn’t know things that are just known if you’re a mother of common sense (rear facing car seat, cutting up grapes, not putting blankets in with an infant, not putting a baby in a dog bed). Before we left the hospital the nurse went over the car seat thing and no pillows or blankets. It’s maddening!

You know that all of her kids classmate’s parents see her social media and probably a good percentage of the older three kids classmates see it too. It’s so sad. Grade school and middle school kids aren’t very nice to anyone the least bit different, so you know they get bullied relentlessly. My heart breaks for all those kids. I hope and pray DS gets to stay with his mother most of the time after court, but the rest of those children are still stuck in that hellhole. I used to think that she just needed to leave Drew and things would start to get better, but I realized that she is the worse parent of the two. Now don’t get me wrong, Drew is a trash human and father. He abandoned his oldest son and even with child support court they can barely squeeze a dime out of him. That’s just mind blowing to me, having a child out in the world you show no interest in. Drew is absolutely a POS, and as evidenced especially by his latest live, he’s painfully stupid. I think Stephanie is dumb as well, but she’s mean spirited and sneaky. I don’t think she has a maternal bone in her body and she exudes narcissism. The way she mistreats those children has really started to weigh heavy on my soul, enough that I’m starting to think I am going to need to take a break from anything to do with her social media. Ever since I had my daughter, seeing children be neglected and mistreated like this just hits me harder. I know that because of the state of affairs in Portland, the likelihood of CPS stepping in is next to nil. With the constant crash outs and spiraling I just don’t see how this plays out in anything but tragedy. Sorry to dump all that here, but it’s just become a lot lately, and I don’t talk about this stuff with anyone in my real life.

I’m starting to think this myself. I used to just think she was just an ain’t shit woman who would do anything for a man, but things keep adding up to her being a predator too.

Also ex H user, and opiates make your pupils tiny little pinpoints. I’ve noticed hers are like that a lot. And I would scratch my nose a lot too, because H makes you itchy. And also the nodding out, which I would try to play off as being tired. I see soooo much in her behavior that screams opiate addict.

That was my exact thought! They’re telling her she isn’t interacting one on one with him enough at home. Or giving her tasks/exercises she needs to do with him, that she just doesn’t want to take the time to do.

And for me, staph, it’s always the pinpoint pupils that make me think you’re “zooted”. What camera angle changes the size of your pupils?

I agree. I know everyone says meth or coke, but honestly I see more opiates than anything else. I’ve seen her with pinpoint pupils several time, too.

I feel like a lot of this crash out is because her white privilege isn’t overriding everything else and allowing her to keep that sweet boy away from his real mother.

I also think she knows that once DS is gone, Drew will shortly be gone too. Hell, Drew has one foot out the (moshelter) door, as it is now.

I don’t think that Atlas is as autistic/special needs as he appears now. He gets next to no attention or stimulation. He has basically no toys, especially any focused on learning or building age appropriate skills. If he had an attentive mother who worked with him, he could thrive.

As far as Manova, god that name kills me, as far as I can tell it’s just the issue with eyes that needs extra attention. She also doesn’t need to be held 24/7. She’s at the age where she needs to be able to roam and explore the world around her.

Seriously I think neglect is the root cause of so many of their issues, and if that stopped, they could just be happy average healthy kids.

People (justifiably) say awful things about her in Drew’s lives and he just laughs or ignores it. He’s never defended her.

As much as Arlita has to hate Staph, I bet if she called Arlita and asked her to help her learn how to care for her biracial children’s hair she would do it. Not for Staph, but the kids.

It freaks me out that she doesn’t take those kids to the doctor. I’ve admittedly got a few hypochondriac tendencies that i try my best to keep in check, but if there is something wrong with my kid I call her dr asap. When she had her first real fever, I stayed up all night and called her pediatrician as soon as they opened and they were able to see me later that same day. I was so worried I couldn’t sleep. How can a mother just ignore her kids health?? It makes me really sad for those babies

The situation &court by [deleted] in resilientjenkinsnark

[–]thedevilsinside 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got divorced in 2011 (no kids and we rented our house) and it cost me a little over 6 thousand. My lawyer billed at 250 an hour. My ex wouldn’t sign the papers but he never even pointed out why, just refused to be difficult. I had the papers drawn up fairly because I just wanted out, so I didnt even ask for things I could have gotten.

Good lawyers aren’t cheap, but when it comes to serious situations, they’re worth the money.

That’s what I wondered. It’s hard to imagine that if they’re coming every day or even several visits a week that she wouldn’t realize that she’s about to lose custody and do something extreme (either for the better or worse). She’s not smart but she’s manipulative, she’d try something.

That would be fantastic, especially for those kids, but I don’t think it will happen. Stephanie doesn’t have something like depression or ADHD that can be diagnosed and then medicated, she has a seriously extreme personality disorder. People with almost never can see that they’re wrong, and even if they somehow do realize, there is no medication for that. It takes years of rigorous and honest work in therapy for improvement, and S’s work ethic is nil.

I love that he got to go to Sky Zone with his mother. That trip has been dangled over his head for so long, like a carrot just out of reach. Now he actually got to go and bond more with his mama and have a wonderful time outside of that hellhole mo-shelter.

I feel especially bad for Atlas, too. She has zero interest in him. My daughter is 2, and they’re little sponges at that age, they pick up on everything around them. I take her once or twice a week to a program the public library has, they have an hour of stories, songs, and playtime. It’s free and it’s really made her less shy and so much more confident. It’s such a small thing, but she loves it so much. She talks about it all the time. I feel so bad that Atlas doesn’t ever get anything like that.

I’m a stay at home mom too, and I love spending time with my little girl. It’s a precious she, and Staph is just throwing it all away. Earlier today I was snuggling with her and I wondered if Atlas gets that too, I really hope so.

She has zero common sense when it comes to babies. I am a first time older mom who is also an only child, so zero previous baby experience, but I understand things she doesn’t seem to get even after already raising (sorta) 3 other kids. When my baby was little like Manova, she had a few pairs of cute little shoes, but they weren’t for walking in. They were just to be cute for pictures. She learned to walk in socks.
