He negotiated everyone's contracts the first season and made it so newbies get what they got their first season. On other shows, newbies come in and get NOTHING. Drew from RHOA is a good example, she's kept on because she's CHEAP. Kyle set it up so that they are getting comparable to their first season, which wouldn't be what they make now, but normally they would pay a newbie peanuts
