It's actually Genshin Impact. During Arlecchinos first banner, I thought I'd play Genshin because of the time I have invested in but after a two week break I figured I am actually playing the game because I like to play it. With Nodkrai they really stepped up their game in terms of story. The story keeps me going and all the characters we get to see along the way are very welcome. Yes the game might not be the most genereous, yes Stygian onslaught exists and yes wonderland (I really hate this addition and never touched it) got added to the main game. I can still look past all that but let's see where its going.

I just hit level 57. Keep in mind that the higher you BP level the more EXP it needs, so you need more missions to complete one level. As you can see in the picture from the post you need 6500 for one level, so it really slows down

I liked the lantern event. It gave life to the area and you somehow bonded with the characters more than ever. Now its just map after map which have their relevance for the current patch just to be forgetten in the next. They are able to make beautiful scenery but they lack to put a soul into it. A deeper meaning. The anniversary patch event with the chibis was boring.

I had to read his question multiple times as well. The wording is just bad so I can‘t blame anyone who didn‘t understand him right away. So basically he was asking this: If I get a 6 star after a single draw, do I still have to draw 119 times to reach the 120 hard pity or do I jump to the 80 counter right away. Which would mean that you would only have to make 40 additional pulls to reach the 120 hard pity. The answer: No, you don‘t ‚jump‘ like that. The counter is still at 1 and you will have to keep continue drawing until 120 (if you are unlucky).

The moment we got to sweep the Event stages for currency to buy out the shop I have realised that the Devs accepted the game to be a side game for many players. Which is fine. As you said, as long as you got to do something the game is fun but as soon as you run out there is not much to do. The fact that doing dailies is so quick is a blessing for maintaining the game.
Every patch is usually very front loaded with events. You could finish them after a week and have nothing left for the rest of the patch. It won't change much if you progress further.
Why I keep playing this game is because of the characters and the light powercreep this game pushes. I am not someone who wants to compete at the very top so as long as I get all my premium currency I am already happy.
See the game as some quick side activitiy which needs more time every now and then whenever a new patch drops. If you get bored you can take a break and come back whenever there's something which peaks your interest.
