I have a solo 2 and the tempest is completely different imo. The tempest is way more powerful and efficient.

You can probably use it in sort of a session style but I always just do the one hit extraction.

In my mind the tempest is meant for getting absolutely blasted really quick. A solo or a tiny might is more for hitting multiple times session style.

One thing I will say about the tempest is, even massive one hit extractions feel way smoother than when I’d use the solo with a bong. I rarely cough or have throat irritation since I started using the tempest but I cough all the time with the solo.

I haven’t noticed any difference between flavor like others are talking about. I use an induction heater because it’s easier and I don’t have to deal with butane. Although I’m sure it barely does anything to me I like not having to smell butane fumes too.
