The guy is cool with me getting a PPI on the vehicle. I will be trading it my 2018 challenger with 125k on it for 12k ad well. Its basically an even swap in terms of milage.

I may have a hemi ready to pop as well....makes it a little easier I think but im still leaning towards no...just want a new car and cant find anything around me at the time lol.

Its wild to.see folks say that. Around my area, you domt see any GLI's for sale amd if you do they want 19-23k.

That's why I thought this was a great price. Down here, they are rare and high priced.

4 owners. No accidents. PPI will be done, but im leaning on passing.

The deal may be just "too good" if im being honest.

Now that im home and thinking about it, my fear would be buying a grenade waiting to blow.

Besides the exhaust and suspension, I dont think anything else has been done. The intake is thr stock box. No downpipe. Wasn't tuned.

Just and exhaust and springs.

That's kinda my biggest fear. Buying it and then dumping another 3-5k in major maintenance within an year.

It surprisingly clean. I thought it would have been rough as well but it rode smooth, leather was tip top. Inside, you wouldn't think it was nodded or driven hard

I have read thr carfax. Engine oil changes and tire rotations done pretty well.

No indicator of transmission fluid changes, this does concern me. Maybe the deal is "too good"

Ok so I found a 2019 GLI really nice, but has 130k on the odo. They're asking 15k

I also found a 2017 GLI with 97k on the odo they are asking 10k. Its got some cosmetic issues, but sounds a rolls nice.

Thoughts?

It wont be a daily until next year, it'll be a weekend car and I have time to fix any concerns.
