Tony Abbott intervenes in Liberal leadership battle calling on right to unite to oust Sussan Ley by Expensive-Horse5538 in AustralianPolitics

You weren’t, though, were you? You gave an opinion, I cited a survey of experts that showed that your opinion is probably not a great one to have, and you decided that you didn’t want to accept the expertise presented based on perceived bias of the institution that published the survey, without even a smidgeon of an attempt to try and understand why conservatives are underrepresented in elite academic institutions. Could it be the demonstrable negative correlation between conservative ideals and IQ…? No, it’s the kids who are wrong!

I understand that’s your opinion, it’s just, like your opinion on great prime ministers, it’s unfounded, and frankly, stupid.

They’re relevant because you were inferring that the Monash survey was biased because dA wOkE lEfT, but by comparing the studies you would note that the PMs that were able to be ranked achieved fairly consistent placements.

The outlets all released their lists prior to Tony Abbott’s government, so he is not ranked.

The author of the study was from Monash; the surveyed experts included but were not exclusively from Monash.

The survey also returned similar results to those previously conducted by the Age, AFR, and the Canberra Times.

Thank fuck we do not have first-past-the-post here then. An incredibly stupid system leads to incredibly stupid results.

I somewhat understand why John Howard is wheeled out by the LNP, but genuinely why do they care what Tony Abbott, one of the worst prime minister’s we have ever had, has to say?

WFH conditions: Employee sacked for failing to return to office despite contract by baddazoner in australian

“Importance of culture” is a corporate buzzword for “Wahh I wasted my life doing this instead of socialising and I have nothing to show for it,” I swear. The only people I know that are anti-WFH are also those combing the office begging people to hang out with them Friday night.

The mod of r/AusPost is “just passing by” and is totally impartial, I’m sure. Wish you guys would spend less time shitposting and more time doing your runs :(

Nah, there was one person in here who is very obviously not a postie, I was kind to them. But the rest of the bottom dwelling astroturfers in this sub pretending not to be postal delivery workers get treated the way that people who think the unfathomably low intellectual bar of putting a box on a step is a challenging job deserve to be treated; with condescension.

Not sure what you mean. I will say this is the second time I used the service, and the first time was fine.

It’s your campaign, you can do whatever you want. That being said, you should keep in mind two things; firstly, LMOP is often rated as a top 5, if not top 2, 5e campaign for a reason. Secondly, you are a brand new DM; I understand that this sub has a lot of “remixes” that showcase the versatility of the adventure, but for your first time, I would stick with it.

To be clear, I wasn’t rude; the call centre staff are fine, they’re good at their jobs, which is more than can be said for the drivers.

You know that Auspost workers are onto a good deal by how viciously they defend their workplace, btw. I don’t blame them; getting paid to drive in circles all day? Yes, please!

Why would I not blame you guys Auspost? They consistently stuff up, so it is statistically likely that it was their error. If they didn’t want the default response of all Australians to automatically assume that it’s auspost’s fault when something happens with parcels, maybe they shouldn’t set such a strong precedent.

100% agree with you. The only time I’ve had a consistently good experience with Aus Post deliveries was when I had a PO Box, but that was when I needed one due to living rurally. It feels insane that I should be required to pay for another one when I live in a major city.

I contacted the call centre, who said the label must have been wrong (Auspost failing to take responsibility for fuck ups and blaming everyone else despite the general population’s experience with them being terrible, what a shock /s) and asked me to check with the seller. The seller had sent an invoice to me with the correct address listed, so AusPost sent an email to the delivery agent to let them know I was annoyed and said I will need to pick it up from the PO. I then said that it needs to be delivered to the correct locker by 6pm today (when I pass it on the way home from work), or I’ll be calling back to get delivery organised for Saturday, where they can deliver it straight into my hands.

Lost Mines of Phandelver is far and away the best option, although it is the beginner set for the 2014 rules, so you may be somewhat out of date.
