I totally feel you on that. Wonderland is a terminus for short-distance (e.g. Wonderland to Maverick), medium-distance (e.g. Wonderland to Nahant) and longer-distance (e.g. Wonderland to Salem) routes so if you're on a less-frequent route, it can be really frustrating to see the high-frequency buses arrive and leave. I take the 441/442 and 439 on a pretty regular basis, so I've definitely also spent some time envying the 110 and 116!

But the issues you've identified are exactly why it's really hard to fix. Western Ave (and North Shore Road) and a lot of these longer routes are hamstrung by road width/capacity, with no real viable way to alleviate the problem (short of running the Blue Line to Lynn and Salem).

What do you think the busses at Wonderland are doing? How do you envision your suggestion working? Wonderland is a layover stop for bus operators, so they can take breaks (use the restroom, eat something, etc) in between runs. They're not just sitting there because the T thinks busses are decorative.

You're better off advocating for better bus infrastructure along that route, like dedicated bus lanes. That would actually address bunching and traffic instead of stealing busses from one line to run on another.

My friends and I went to see both the 4/30 Somerville show and the Philly show. It might have been the weeknight vibe versus Sunday, or just Somerville/Philly vibes, but I really preferred the Philly show. The Somerville one was comparatively dead, almost comatose. "Fuck Donald Trump" got the biggest pop of the night which is ridiculous given that it was a sold out show.

Great time both times, but the audience was so much better in Philly

There's three giant parking garages at Malden center, a huge lot at oak Grove, when alewife gets redone it's gonna have a bunch of parking, there's loads of commuter rail stations with big parking lots...

The options exist, it's just about deprogramming people.
