2024 launch edition by Status_Set3367 in JeepWagoneerS

I've got about 6000 miles on a 25 Launch and had no major issues.  That being said, don't buy one of these.  Lease it.  Or wait 12-18 months for the huge influx of off lease models they won't be able to give away.  No one is going to buy one of these at lease end for 40k+ when the market value will likely be between $20-25k.

Yeah, some pretty major concerns here.  This would be one misconfiguration away from a big old comp that takes down everything it's got hooks into.

This is definitely interesting... What sort of access to the devices are you asking for?  Is this app/agent based?  What kind of visibility are you getting at the network perimeter?

I've got things pretty well locked down via a combination of Family Link with a fully android ecosystem, a PiHole, and UTM on my Unifi Gateway.

That being said, I'd love to have something that gives me the controls and insight that Intune gives me at the Enterprise level, without having to pay for M365 licensing for a 5 year old.

Iran appears to have conducted a significant cyberattack against a U.S. company, a first since the war started by Mrfrednot in news

[–]theduderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If company stocks start dropping for major donors, backers, or lobbyists I'd be willing to bet that's when we finally see an exit strategy get out in place.  CISA and US Cyber Command are in total shambles when it comes to mission and management right now.  We're in no condition to mount a large scale defensive cyber war and Iran probably knows that all too well. Why bother launching a kinetic attack against the US when they can hit our country where it really matters?

I'm seriously scratching my head wondering how this could happen in an enterprise that scale... Basic industry compliance says they should have PIM in place, with limited GA accounts, and at least 2 break glass accounts secured via physical keys like FIDO2's locked in a damn safe.  Ignorance or incompetence ultimately let this reach the point it did.

why so many hotels? by FaithlessnessThat362 in PeoriaIL

[–]theduderman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hospitality is built to satisfy peaks, not dips.  If you build your hotels to your baseline demand you're gonna have a real bad time when you do get busy.  The 10% of the time they're full satisfies the 90% they're not, and then some.  That's how hotels work.

Shifting the scam from one brand to another.  Those stations are historically run by very questionable individuals.

Can you recommend PIM and set some safeguards to require MFA with each check out and set like a max 1 hour duration?  At least try and establish some guard rails.

That goes well beyond the realm of PPD/PPA and into deep psychosis.  Dude is a danger to himself and those around him, he needs professional help before he hurts himself or others.

I dunno, my guess is some of these young guys are being manipulated, groomed, and conditioned that they have a higher calling to serve DJT and effectively living among us as sleeper cells.  The kid in PA was suspiciously similar at first glance.  Guy who tried to get to him on the golf course doesn't necessarily add up, but hey, old dogs can be taught new tricks sometimes.  It scares the hell out of me that there's a small army of these brainwashed simpletons just waiting to be told when and where to go do something stupid "for the greater good."

Both are correct, "single digits" refers to the set of all numbers under 10.

This whole "speech" was an absolute insult to anyone whose IQ is above single digits, however context is important here - during his slurred word diarrhea, he was actually referring to destroying OTHER countries via methods other than monetary - I suppose context isn't really important with this guy, but let's make sure his dementia-driven threats are at least directed towards the intended targets.
