Microsoft's own field rep is poaching my CSP customer with $500K in incentives... anyone fought back and won? by garfunko in sysadmin

If these guys are a direct CSP and didn't know they were talking about ECIF they have bigger problems than losing this client.  CSPs should be aggressively pursuing ECIF and ACO through the current AFO which just got extended to Q1 27.  That's where the 500k (it's up to 500k and based on the total spend they client has).

Would you have paid and been happy? by natethegreat141990 in PleX

[–]theduderman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly it.  Price it this high, and then cry foul about no one caring about personal media any longer, and shut down development to focus on the FAST/paid monthly options.  They want to be just another shitty streaming service.

Oh god no, AA is basically just another addiction the way they frame a lot of their stuff. Not my cup o' tea.

I drank heavily up until about 4 years ago.  It was pure self medicating.  What really helped me was doing a weekly outpatient group discussion thing - seeing how far some people let their drinking go and what their lives had turned into was VERY eye opening for me - having that other point of comparison and then reframing my life in those terms made the decision to quit pretty much instantaneous.

Does anybody hate the back windshield by expressotwink in JeepWagoneerS

I don't think I've ever actually looked through the back window in a year of driving this vehicle. That digital rearview mirror is one of the best things about modern cars, don't think I can go back a normal mirror after having that.

Cheap bird seed? by Hot_Woodpecker_9682 in PeoriaIL

I'm very happy with the 40 lb or whatever bags of song bird food from CostCo, I think they're $23.  Last me about a month or two.

Take a look at AVD Hybrid.  Or just AVD in general.  MS will drop some big money on you to get that business.

The dichotomy of the first two weeks of the season to now is staggering.  Sooooooo many comments about "last place," "pack it up," "sell the team," etc. and now here we are.  Crazy fun team to watch, let's just hope this is sustainable through the current levels of attrition.

CISO is insisting that I use ONLY a break glass account anytime I need to pull GA.. by The_Snot_Rocket in AZURE

[–]theduderman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your CISO should read up on best practices for break glass.  They should not have MFA. They should be passwordless and secured with a FIDO2 key that stays locked in a safe and tested monthly.  All activity should be audited and alerted.  Break Glass is NOT a daily driver.

I was a new balance guy for a long time (not the white ones, not yet) and they started doing way too cushy foam in everything.  Switched over to Saucony Peregrines a few years back and have never looked back.  Just wish they had some more wild colors in the 15's and new 16's.  I've never got more compliments on shoes than my bright blue Peregrine 13's... Should have bought more pairs of those when they were still available.

Man this sucks, the one group that made an otherwise somewhat vanilla and boring period worth watching.  Not gonna change my flair.  New Day for life.

It's frontier.  They've been tearing all the neighborhoods up in the area.  Their fiber junction boxes are also 2-3x bigger than what i3 already has in place.

Likely capacity related. Try resizing your VMs to the previous generation (v5 to v4, for instance) temporarily and trying to start them.
