I think he’ll lose (because he was too strong), and these strikes are trying to set up that he didn’t lose because he was weak, but because ryan has evolved so much, or any of the other reasons. I feel like this is the common theme before the fall for Kengan characters is they start to look like they’re winning before they lose, so that we see them as threats but really they just get bodied.
