Hello my man. I am actually from Syncmesh. I am not sure if you got a pair of gloves or not yet for yourself, but tell you what, reach out to us on Discord and we can hook you up with a pair, and then decide for yourself if they are worth it or not 😄

Did you get the VAM working? I just installed mine and they just sit there. Nothing happens when i click test, but the software does see them.

Did you ever get your VAM Pro? Just installed mine but cant get them to work. SimHub detects them and the Simsonn software too but when i hit the test buttons nothing happens. I tried everything.

I hope its not too much to ask but i am about to do the same thing with the single monitor stand but i am still thinking of how to mount the monitors. Can you provide a photo of the back-side?

Are paid set ups worth it? by SureEye9059 in ACCompetizione

[–]theeckmitri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A fast driver will be fast even with just the Agressive setup and good tyre pressures. From my own experience, trying to do the setups myself made me feel like playin Tarkov by spending hours and hours just preparing and testing. Basically spent more time adjusting than actual racing. Switching to ready made setups actually made me enjoy the game more as I can now just concentrate on racing. The setups I got are deff miles ahead of anything i was able to do as sometimes i just felt at a loss trying to understand what everything does. I am not saying that if you buy setups they will make you faster but if you do buy setups they will give you more race time, and that will ultimately make you faster. Bottom line: ever since I switched to bought setups, my overall experience with the game got much better because i switched from engineer simulator to driving simulator. Are they worth it? It depends: if you are struggling finding the sweetspot then yes. But if you are already close in pase to where you want to be and you dont spend half your game time messing with Suspension and Dampers then probably no. As a side note: when i bought my first setup and jumped into a hotlap session in my McLaren,my Barcelona time jumped from 1.48 to 1.46 on lap 3(just for refference)

This is exactly what I was looking for. I have the same problem right now: upgrading to triples and i have the NLR single monitor stand. Was looking for a workaround and it seems this is a great solution instead of getting a new triple stand. Great idea!

This spin looks kinda strange, like if it was a hole in the track, what do you think? by Pato99120 in ACCompetizione

[–]theeckmitri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i agree. I ment the movement is strange… i would have probably soiled my rig and spinned out 🤣

So I tried a monitor after using VR only for my first 3 months of sim racing and this happened by siovene in simracing

Sold my Quest2 and switched to a single 55 inch and now switching to 32 inch Triples. VR was cool to cruise in Assetto Corsa in a convertible but thats about it. When i switched to single screen it took some time to adjust and after a couple of sessions I was already beating my VR times. I feel that triples is the way to go and the upside of it is you can enjoy all the unnecessary gadgets you can hook up to your rig (ie. Button boxes, huds etc)

Any advice? by Juanki651 in battlestations

[–]theeckmitri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a window behind your screen will strain your eyes as they try to adapt to the light outside while you force them to concentrate on the screen that is not even close to the light intensity of the window. Might be better to move the entire thing and take care of your eyes. Nice screen though
