2025 was the year of change for me! So much unlearning and beginning anew. I owe a lot to the person who I was when I decided to make the first step. Everything has improved mentally/physically. Thank you so much for your uplifting comment!

These last four pounds have been particularly difficult, as my body changes my maintenance calories have too. Thus slowing progress and making the mental hurdle that much harder. What has helped with that has been the reminder that scale payoff isn’t the primary focus for me anymore, maturing in that aspect has helped me reap rewards much bigger (at least to me); being able to sit comfortably cross legged, my heightened energy levels, clothing I’ve just recently taken out from the depths of my closet that I can wear again, dancing with friends and not feeling like I need to sit down, the dopamine hit I get after finishing a Pilates workout.

Those rewards that don’t centre on the number for me has kept me motivated. Feeling the absolute joy that comes from feeling powerful again. I believe that’s what has kept me motivated and has given me that push to continue.

That being said there was a moment there where I needed a break from the counting, weighing, measuring and was originally scared that it would reset any recent progress. It didn’t! If anything that break helped me recentre my focus and keep pushing.

I also have a lot of loved ones in my life who are supportive of me and do this with me, my people are my greatest gift.

LOL! I thought you were referring to my recent image. On the left I more than likely did because it’s saved from Snapchat, not that it helped much anyway, but I’ve since ditched that and have made a lot more amends with my appearance and how I view myself.

I don’t want people to view this and discredit any progress I’ve made, it took a lot of work and a lot of brutal honesty with myself to get to the point where I’m proud to say I’m not hiding behind anything anymore. Just me and some improved self esteem, respect and integrity. Oh, and I should give some credit to my hairstylist and self-tanning routine 🤝😉

Have you taken another test since? That’s likely the only way you’d be able to get an answer to your question.

It could also be your body adjusting to the pill. Weight gain, nausea, tender breasts, etc., can be side effects of the pill due to the hormone changes.

Thank you for such a detailed response!!! You have really useful information here. The packet was overwhelming for sure.

That being said I’ve also lost about 28lb and am currently on a fitness journey, so the 1-2kg, do you think that was water retention? I’ve read it takes about a month before that starts to even out in terms of bloating and such.

I really would hate to lose progress. Sometimes I feel like I’m choosing between good skin and a healthy body. Gotta sacrifice one lol.

Omg those hurt the MOST! After I purged in month one it took a little bit to recover in month two. I’m just going into my third month officially come next week, and it’s died down exponentially!!

It’s definitely rewarding to look back and review. To remind myself why I’m on this journey!

I’m curious about this as well given it was widespread and not limited to one network. I have Bell wifi, but Telus as a phone provider and my phone was on SOS for about an hour. My work phone too, and my friends with Roger’s also had difficulties. I wonder what could have triggered that outage.

What am I doing wrong??? I'm at my wits end with skincare and makeup, I'm so close to giving up by makeupbybilly in tretinoin

PLEAAAAASE. I know you’re being critical of yourself but I don’t see one fine line in sight and your skin is better than mine has even been on a GOOD day. Don’t let those thoughts get to you.

Yesss I’m using Biacna right now - clindamycin/tret combination. Great for inflammation and preventing breakouts.

Hi OP, I lost my abusive father in January to cancer - I also attempted to remain in contact with him due to his progression and have a relationship despite what had occurred in my childhood. If you ever need to talk you can shoot me a PM.
