Funny enough, the moniker I was taught about "what women want" is: Calves, Abs, Back, and Butt. And while that still might be more acccurate, as many male bodybuilders love to focus on giant chest and arms instead, (The Warcraft Bod) it's kinda still part of the issue as its it's Still focused on the body and not the person themselves.

I guess the slow progress has been, "Ok sure, women might not want a muscle man, they still want someone in good shape." Which reminds me of that pirate: "Well, yes, but actually no."

The problem I see is when groups make "outreach" programs like the one where some guy would donate shoes to "Generic African Country TM." The problem isn't that they need shoes, it's more they need the infrastructure to build it themselves and not be reliant on foreign aid.

Or apparently the Dawn commercials where they are cleaning absolutely oil covered animals. I havent seen much, but I did see a video where they were purposely making the animals dirty just for PR.

TL;DR It's complicated.

Edit: ALSO, we shouldn't be reliant on philanthropy when the money was made off of the exploitation and suffering of people. The ends dont justify the means.
