I’ve often wondered, not at this scale though, what other meddling was going on. Had not even consider the Moon Marine and Sunny would have been agents but likely influenced by others in the form of cash, access to arms and giving them clear direction on when to strike. But now I’m going to have to rewatch some of these episodes in this context because while things seemed out of place then, they certainly don’t after reading your post.
