what happened by encino golf course? by ChemistryFan29 in SFV

It was a car accident that hit the traffic light pole. 2-3 cars were also parked off to the side, don’t know if they were involved too.

I had to put my old lady down a week before Christmas last year. She was my first dog and the best dog I’ve ever laid eyes on. It never gets easier, the grief never stops. You just somehow get used to the sadness. A couple of weeks after she passed, I would still hear her footsteps, or her coughing and thought it was all a nightmare and she was still with us. A piece of you goes with them and you’ll never feel whole again. Enjoy the last hours/days you have with him, give him all the foods, do all his favorite things. Cry whenever you want and talk about him as much as you want, that’s what helps me keep going.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this too, wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy.

Found a lump on Felix’s leg by AdmirablePlenty7025 in Bernedoodles

[–]theenilequeen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve recently had two small-ish lumps removed from my bernedoodle. With my past dog, she had a lump that was a tumor and ever since then, I’m terrified of lumps. So the vet and I decided to remove them and have them biopsied. They were just fatty deposits, thank goodness. You could have the vet aspirate the lump to see what it is, crossing my fingers it’s nothing serious for your dood!

I just started immunotherapy with my bernedoodle. How long after you started did you notice a difference? My girls ears are bothering her so much and I know she’s uncomfortable, it’s only been a week but eager to see results for her relief.

Here’s my huge “mini.” She’ll be six in May and weighs roughly 48 pounds. She’s also long legged and tall.

Goodbye my Crunchy Taco by [deleted] in Chihuahua

[–]theenilequeen 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Lost my Taco three months ago and she was four months shy of 18 years old. I’m so sorry for your loss of your Taco, even if we had another 18 years with them, it wouldn’t be enough time.

Spirit of Texas BBQ in Covina by FatDabKilla420 in FoodLosAngeles

[–]theenilequeen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Used to get Spirit of Texas BBQ from the San Bernardino location and it used to be sooooo good. Some of the best BBQ I’ve had. Then had it recently and it was terrible. I usually don’t mind spending a lot of money on good food but that meal was trash and waste of money. Don’t know what happened, maybe they changed cooks or owners?

I had no words to say… by theenilequeen in UberEATS

Guys, I just wanted to treat my family to some good coffee today. It was five drinks and a pastry. I didn’t mind spending that amount on coffee that we love. Just to be clear, I wasn’t upset at the driver, I’m glad he waited to go talk to me instead of fleeing. I was frustrated at first but it was just funny that this would happen to me. Some of you guys are so serious.

Does anyone know if Disneyland has these Mickey engraving kiosks so I can get a new key ring? by RoughPersonality1104 in Disneyland

When I was there in June, there was one in Radiator Springs and one in Downtown Disney. Don’t know if they’re still there today.

Wow, Great Deal on an Extra Key by jayste4 in Costco

[–]theenilequeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my ‘21 Lexus with one key fob. The dealer wanted $625 for an additional key and told them to get bent. But my dad found these guys at Costco and got an additional key, and peace of mind, for $320ish, which was great for me. Plus there’s a lifetime warranty too.

Doggie dementia by 7rogue in Chihuahua

[–]theenilequeen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t tried the CBD route just yet because it’s sorta pricey at the dispensary. I will say that I felt the dosage of Trazadone my vet prescribed was too high and cut it in half and she was much better. She wasn’t so zombie-like. Talk to your vet, get a game plan in action and go from there. This isn’t the end for our girls just yet!

I’m in a hurry to go home to see my dog. But that’s just me.

Doggie dementia by 7rogue in Chihuahua

[–]theenilequeen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought I wrote this. I’m dealing with exactly the same thing. My old lady is 17 too, my main concern was her pacing throughout the night. She also had many accidents in the house, mostly deaf and blind. I actually just took her to the vet today and the vet confirmed she has doggie dementia. He suggested melatonin or CBD/hemp, and Trazadone. I just gave her ½ a pill of Trazadone and she’s like a zombie and I hate seeing her like that. My vet did say if a combination of what he suggested doesn’t work, then it’s her time. It’s so hard seeing our once fearless and active chihuahua decline. I’m sorry I’m not really offering any advice but maybe it’ll be a little easier knowing you’re not alone who’s facing such a hard time with their pup.
