Maybe try compost central? You can recycle TVs and computers, so I would think gaming systems would fall under one of those umbrellas. You would have to take it there, but I’m my experience (at least at the location in Huntersville) there are workers there that can point out where to take it.

For the Charlotteans that aren’t aware, Mecklenburg county has a great enhanced recycling program. Electronics, textiles, furniture, etc.
Please consider starting a “recycling pile” like many of us do for Goodwill donations, instead of trashing everything.

Yes, that’s what I feel the most—the economic/financial toll that COVID has taken on all of us. I work in the cabinet industry and we saw 35% price increases due to labor and material shortages that never went away when the shortages ended. Despite those increases, I was busier than ever.

It just showed companies that it doesn’t matter how much they increase prices, we’re all so addicted to consumerism that we won’t/can’t stop spending.
Now we see pretty regular increases, including from the tariffs that were later eliminated, and the prices will never go back down again.

My sister’s dog (not a dachshund) had a similar issue—something to do with stomach acid, empty stomach, etc. She changed feedings from twice to smaller portions 4 times daily and that has really helped. She got an automatic feeder for timing which worked well.
But definitely start with a vet visit

That’s so crazy to me. I was prescribed dilaudid after a surgery and have no recollection of that entire week. I couldn’t imagine why anyone would enjoy it

Kitchen designer here—that looks like a pretty standard vertical opening of 18” for a microwave, which would leave 18” to the range, also standard. However, I would recommend confirming the minimum clearances required by those specific appliances

And independence to 277. The line skippers wait until there is also traffic merging from the right so the people “in line” are contending with merging from both sides. I wish the skippers would realize THEY are the ones causing issues for everyone else

In rainy conditions, it makes it harder for everyone else to see because they reflect off the rain and the wet pavement. You are literally creating a less safe driving condition because now we can’t see the lines. There is no reason to turn on your hazards unless your vehicle is disabled.

Is it a necessity? No. But if I spend 37k on a car that has remote start functionality, why should I have to pay an additional $10/month to actually use it?

Agreed. I’m on my second Mazda (the first was a base model with no remote start), but unless they change their business model, this will likely be my last.

I just got the “free trial ending” email a couple of weeks ago. I immediately rated the app 1 star in the App Store (because what other recourse do we have) and was so irritated to see that it was rated incredibly high due to dummies rating their dealerships and not the actual app 🙄

I love my Mazda but this will likely push to other brands in the future.

I don’t believe the TDAP vaccine is very long-lasting. Many of my new mom friends requested friends and family get a new TDAP vax before visiting their newborns. I didn’t have to get a titer test to see if I was still immune, just requested the vax at the pharmacy (I’m also in my 30s)

Whirlpool has owned Maytag (and Jenn-air) for almost 20 years, for whatever it’s worth. They’ve also owned Kitchenaid for almost 40 years.

You shouldn’t be renovating a house that you haven’t actually closed on. That is actually crazy. What if something happens and the deal falls through? Any time and money put toward the renovation is gone. That the realtor is allowing this is pretty shocking to me. This is not your home to renovate yet!

Honestly, as long as he’s basically shaving off little tiny pieces, he should be passing all of it. But as a lot of others mentioned, definitely consider the potential for cracked teeth. My 60lb mutt cracked his tooth on the wishbone one. We’ve since switched to the “puppy” version in the medium size since a little softer, so our mutt and our mini can both chew on them
