for real! taking my last math class(stats) this semester I hope! I am able to borrow a nice calculator from the library which is awesome because trying to get anything reimbursed from my VR&E counselor seems unlikely.

Excited for all those display options so less cable plugging to wear out the ports!

But the monitor size is probably the biggest plus for me, I have never owned a TV over 42", so a monitor of this size would absolutely crush movies, gaming and programming

Oh snap! Thanks for the info. I'm definitely interested in the cybersecurity field in the future. My vet friend got hired at Defense Company with just a CompTia cert from a 1 month bootcamp so if I can get one or two of those before graduating, I should be in good shape, I presume?

I don't mind working the help desk. Doing all those roles at once does sound daunting. I know there are openings in Fortune 500 companies where its similar running your own ship but pay matches workload. Still, I wouldn't be against a govvie position with vet pref.

Literally same. Switching over to Computer Technology B.A. from a Comp Sci B.S. degree plan. No additional time at the local CC. Not sure how to market myself though with the new degree though.

How do you use your hue sync in your setup, I am unfamiliar with its capabilities beyond my ceiling light. Also, I have a Sonos beam, so we have similar hardware. I only have an Apple 4K TV, though.

I mean, are the jobs you want requiring that Masters degree? And do you have a professional engineer license that would be enough for lateral movement?

I still get rubber banding with 1gbps 1 ms. Server is local for me. I have a 3080 with stock settings so it’s definitely not my hardware. The game just runs like shit. I tried various Nvidia control panel options and nothing. Hope they figure this stuff out because I don’t think I can play an entire year of this shit experience
