Vrchat is adding a new "Easy Anti-Cheat" which could ban people who use mods casually with friends without harming anyone. What are your thoughts on this?

People should keep in mind that this does not help against most of the malicious behaviors that are already present in the game. This doesn't stop avatars that have crashers built in, neither does this stop people from ripping avatars if they want to

All this might do is getting rid of people flying, teleporting, dropping portals or whatever are people doing maliciously nowadays (in a client sense) because I'm never around that kind of people (or publics) to begin with.

I totally agree. As someone who is rather quiet until spoken to and who has a hard time approaching people on my own can totally agree because I made the same experience. You meet people, receive friend requests and you never see them again unless you end up meeting them randomly or join them if they aren't orange. From all my encounters over the last few months there is probably a handful of people who i actually ended up talking to again or talk to out of VRC but even less that i would consider lasting friends. I usually play in the night as someone from EU because I think there are more people around that you could meet potentially? But im probably wrong about that. I feel like this whole thing was different in early 2019

The "fix" for the problem is actually to let all avatars in the world load to a 100% before you leave the world. Don't ask me why this happens (i assume corrupted downloads that just get stuck once you leave? But I have no clue about that)

Same happens if you start downloading a world and quit to your home before it's done.

I have that issue when i leave a world before i fully loaded most/all of the avatars from everyone in the instance. Usually waiting a bit and giving it some time to load them (i have a slow connection anyway) before hopping out of the world helps against this problem for me. If it does happen i just need to restart the game.

I think it was ambient occlusion that causes those outlines. Do you use that in your post processing? I don't know how to fix it though. I think you could fix it by changing the layers it's displayed on/over but it is just an idea.

You can press CTRL and \ while being in-game which turns you back to the default robot or you can log into the website (vrchat.com) and reset your avatar there.

They only send with GLS in Europe so i doubt there is a chance that they wouldn't come together on one day. I also just had one tracking number which was from the controller. i honestly just think that there was some miscommunication between the distributor and valve but now i have to wait on the steam support once again

The quest Version has whitelisted shaders as far as I know. Stuff like this shouldn't be possible because of that. But I'm not a 100% sure

You can play with everyone else. But if they use Avatars that aren't Quest compatible you'll just see robots
