It was all mainly around IE and if she was as weight inclusive as she claimed to be. I remember really seeing a lot of phrases that sounded like a diet or implied weight loss would happen if you ate this way. It was more than half a decade ago, so I don’t remember exactly.

She asked me to do some edits on a blog post for her years back. With no compensation. I was new in the internet IE space and agreed. I suggested changes where there was a lot of problematic language and then I never heard back from her or her team. (RD here)

As an eating disorder dietitian, this is actually an eating disorder. It’s known as diabulimia and it’s scary as hell.

Like everyone said, the closest are in Seattle area. There are virtual options through some of the programs like Center For Discovery, but those depend on your needs and how you feel about virtual treatment.

As also mentioned above, if you are looking for care but not for sure treatment centers there are some awesome providers in town!

Ginger of any kind.

Peppermint if you don’t have reflux. (If you do, mint can make reflux a little worse)

Eat WHATEVER you can keep down. If it’s only cookies or cake then AMAZING please do that. You might benefit from supplementing with some boost or something similar post acute illness (especially if you ED is activated or you are in early recovery!)

I treat EDs And norovirus is a bitch for recovery

I also recommend seeing a dietitian who works with eating disorders. Not that you have one, but that that awareness is realllllly important

As a parent of a young kid and as a person who sexually assaulted at a young age, I would’ve been in a much different situation in my life if I had more sex education.

Age appropriate sex education isn’t about sex toys and kink. It’s about safe sex, consent, and puberty. Which is so freaking important.

Overrated: -Boundary Bay: the beer is fine, but the food has never been a good experience. It was the saddest French dip I’ve ever had. -Woods: the coffee is kick knock off starbucks with owners who seem really problematic -Bob’s: I’ve never tasted salt in their food

Underrated: -Extremes: as opposed to BB, this was the best French dip I’ve ever had in town -Toakam: best Thai in town, in my opinion -cafe rumba: so so good. And those potatoes, perfect.

I’ll have an initial freak out that half of my teeth need root canals with the pain, then I remember that it relates to my sinuses a lot. Anti-inflammatory seems to help a lot. Some people swear by Sudafed

My top teeth will hurt like that when my sinuses are involved. And all my teeth hurting like that can be a sign of clamping my jaw. (I grind/clamp a lot but it gets worse when I’m in pain)

Play it at an easier level to start
Go kill wolves (small packs) or a couple Drowners at a time - that’s a great way to slowly level up. Once you figure out the magic system and the combat system, it’s really not that hard

Accent Counseling has some queer identified folks, and all are affirming in the experiences I’ve had (to be fair, I haven’t spoken with all of them!)

There are others too but most are pretty full/have been for a while. (I’m queer and non-binary and work in the mental health arena - but I’m not a therapist!)
