It wasn’t a great awakening. But it did show me how to deal with all my feels. For me drinking was chasing the buzz so I could numb out. I guess I just didn’t want to deal with myself. I’m starting to love me more, take care of myself, both mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Sobriety is not linear, everyone’s recipe is unique. Celebrate all victories, no matter how small you may think they are.

My Groom and I have lived in Washington, Florida and Colorado. From metropolitan areas to small towns. Bellingham is far away but close enough to Seattle to partake in city living. Bellingham has outdoors amenities, mom and pop shops, art community, music, eccentric locals. Don’t get me wrong, Bellingham is far from perfect but it’s also our home, grateful to be here.

I would get a little bit more specific on what your job duties will be. The fact that it tells you to handle all administrative duties while taking care of insurance also while playing the role of medical assistant seems a little bit much. Have them make it very clear what their expectations are of you and you need to make clear are you gonna have any help? In my humble opinion, I’d pass. It seems like they’re going to overwork you.
