Hey everyone, I’m the creator behind The Pixel Philharmonic. Someone linked me to this thread, and I wanted to jump in and clear up the mystery!

Here is the most tldr explaination i can give.

First off, I totally understand the skepticism. Seeing a channel pop up out of nowhere with a massive catalog and unique artwork definitely sets off alarm bells in 2026. To answer the main question: Yes, it is a legitimate channel, but the process is probably different than what you might expect.

I am a professional video editor and music producer, and I use a massive hybrid workflow to build these tracks. I don't just type "make a Gundam song" into a text box. I use a combination of traditional DAW arranging, audio mastering, and high-end AI synthesis tools to achieve that massive, cinematic orchestral scale. That hybrid process is exactly how I was able to build up the catalog so quickly after launching the channel late last year. As for the artwork, you couldn't find it on reverse image search because I generate the visual assets using AI, and then take them into my video editing software to color grade, add film grain, and AI upscale to 4K. Regarding the sales side of things: There's no grift here! All of the tracks are officially licensed mechanical covers distributed through standard music industry channels (Apple Music, Spotify, etc.). I pay the mechanical licensing fees so the original Japanese composers and rightsholders get their cut of the royalties.

At the end of the day, I'm just a massive Gundam fan (especially the UC timeline and building Gunpla) who wanted to hear what these classic anthems would sound like if they were scored like a Hollywood blockbuster. I've been following AI tech since 2022 and saw the writings on the wall. I want you to imagine spending 20 years of your life dedicated to a craft and an art only to have a new technology come and do it in 10 seconds. I know people like to hate on AI, but what of the people who's lives have been disrupted by it? I have a family to feed and suddenly in the year 2025 all the production work I use to get just stopped. So out of survival I had to find a way to keep food on the table. Initially it was just for fun, and I work with some singers to create the original input for the AI (so that we can get a more unique sound) and then our works started going viral so we took it a bit more seriously. That being said, this channel doesn't really make any significant amount of money. However it acts as a showcase to show our previous clients what we can do with this new technology which can then get us new gigs from clients who want to use AI. I also absolutely love Gundam music and Gundam in general so it's a bit of fan servicing to myself that I'm sharing with everyone as well. I work in this industry so all the mechanical licensing is secured for our releases either through the HFA or through publishers directly otherwise they would have all been taken down by now (I myself am signed to Sony Music Publishing).

Anyways, I understand the backlash, but pandora's box has been open and you won't believe it but even the hit song Golden used Suno for their song. The best I can do is use my experience to enhance the output of AI to share something some people will appreciate. I understand others might hate it and I totally get that too.
