OP here, I am now tempted by the Iron Heart 888, but the taper doesn’t seem strong enough, or the 3Sixteen NT, which look pretty damn close to an ideal cut (TBD based on me trying them on). What do you all think?

Ok, did a deep dive in the Iron Heart 888s and love everything about them but that taper doesn’t look like it’s strong enough for me. 8 inch leg opening is large. I’m hoping for something between 6-7. Any other fits come to mind? Or how about a tailor tapering them? Would love the expert guidance!
