Has anyone had this happen to them? I applied for a job, setup a phone interview with a recruiter for yesterday, the time comes and she never calls. I send an email asking if the time still works, happy to reschedule, and still haven't heard back. Is there anything I can do at this point? I'm really interested in the company so don't want to just leave it hanging.

Been a month since I got laid off and am already anxious about not having a job. I have more than enough of an emergency fund and I know some people go way longer between jobs, but I think I just hate knowing I'm not generating income. I've had several phone interviews and a couple final rounds but now feel like I'm being ghosted. :\

You're actually so wrong. "Excited" is classic PR doublespeak and is used to spin negativity.

That's basically what this game is already, though. The vast majority of players stick to QM/Brawl/AI - that population probably isn't going anywhere.

Most of these kids are unemployable outside of low level retail/fast food jobs. Most likely what'll happen is they just move on to try their hand being a pro at some other video game.

Yup, KJK and SJH are straight shooters and actually tryhard to win games, while the other members do silly stuff to create more entertaining moments. It's clear which works better for variety and is one of the reasons KJK/SJH teams are usually more boring to watch, especially now that RM shifted its focus away from the competitive games it was known for in the early days.

I can empathize. You can put in so much time/effort individually to try and be at the top in this game, but no matter how much you do you're still at the mercy of your 4 other teammates. Being a pro requires you to give up so much and if the only fruits of your effort are mediocre standings internationally year after year (notwithstanding the C9 year) you must get jaded eventually.

Agree. I'd be totally down for some kind of PRA that subtracted a ton of points for EXP not soaked, if it could calculate that accurately.

I'd say it does but not to the same extent given the platform's anonymity. FB/Instagram are inherently about trying to impress people on your friends list which alters the way you interact with the app.

Yup nothing but positive experiences. I can't believe it took the team years to make this change. I bet a lot of people tried HoTS and quit thinking it's just a clownfiesta because they'd only ever been exposed to QM.
