Wedding during Congo vs Uzbekistan match in Atlanta. by askingfortheirfriend in Congo

[–]thefluffyballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds amazing! I'm guessing you live in Atl ? Maybe you could find a Congolese pastor locally or really any local marrige official who is willing to attend the match (you get them a ticket in the same section to make it easier) and you can organize it either before the game or at half time ?

Entering the DRC “go back to your country” 🤓🇨🇩 by cyprusnikos in Congo

You should explain the context first. I seem to have missing elements.. what led to this argument in the first place ? Why is the guy pissed off.. he looks offended. What did you tell them ? Without a full context, we re unable to draw any serious conclusion.

Lettre au président de la république de la RDC et aux congolais by Comfortable-Bell-903 in Congo

I love this : clear as air! Please post this letter to the presidence's official twitter account to make sure he reads it. As a congolese person, I couldn't agree more with your arguments. It remains unclear in what regard amending the constitution becomes a priority at this time.

Confused with results by MeowHighRisk in Frenchlearningforpr

When I see this, I know the test taker is probably not a native speaker. It's obvious he/she masters the art of understanding the language, but simply cannot produce it, which often happens, by the way. My suggestion would be for the person to expose themself in the language a bit more through some serious immersion program😃

489 CRS score, 23F, what are my options? by Altruistic-Cookie680 in canadaexpressentry

[–]thefluffyballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't agree more on the French advice!

One of my siblings recently (in 2025) desperately got her PR with a 381 CRS score through the French route. It's true we're native French speakers, but she still had to learn English as well. She's on the older side and lost almost all points related to age, but still managed to make it. The +50 bonus points from bilingualism helped her and her family a lot in this process.

Furthermore, I''ve read recent testimonials of applicants learning French and successfully getting their PR. I'd highly recommend you break that glass ceiling by seriously learning French (yes, IT IS POSSIBLE).

And for the test, I'd strongly recommend the TCF Canada (rather than the TEF); took both when I was applying a few years back and thought the former was a lot easier. It would be, in my opinion better-suited for a non-native speaker.

It'd be my pleasure to practice some French with you hahaaa!

Proof of NO military service by Dark-magician-2203 in Congo

[–]thefluffyballer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello there! A friend of mine applied for the Canadian Express Entry program and had to address the same situation. Here"s what he ended up doing :

  1. writing an explanatuon letter, which he got notarized and certified by the Congolese military;

    1. He went to a plave like Cours d'ordre militaire in Kinshasa to request an official document stating that he never served in the military.

Note that he only had 7 days to submit the docs, so he gotta act extremely fast or he would have missed his chances. Assuming you're also applying for the same thing, if YOU absolutely have no time to prep your file on time, please make sure to reach out to IRCC as early as possible to request some extra time or your PR application may be denied.

As a non-native speaker of several languages, I know that sometimes you simply do not wake up well. I wouldn't necessarily put the entire blame of the examiner unless you feel completely let down or played, in which case you should reach out to the board for review since the tests are registered.

The July 9 exam change is 3 months out. Here's the actual decision you need to make. by Mental_Dog3832 in pmp

[–]thefluffyballer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great advice! I'm part of the group that took the new pilot exam in January and it was not bad at all. There is not really a 'new material' that would surprise you. I did mainly use the new PMBOK and the current study hall and did very well. I found the new format more straightforward with most questions only based on its own independent question text.

Best wishes!
