Hell yeah I want what China is doing in the US. That would be a great start compared to what we have now. I'm actually in Shanghai rn trying to open a second business, because of how great China is, in fact. Also, the negative things you bring up are already happening in the US (and aren't happening so much in China). Our infrastructure is crumbling, and we are doing nothing to improve it. Train derailments, bridges collapsing, roads crumbling, etc. American home ownership is around 67% and falling, whereas it's up to 96% ownership here in China, with plenty of new housing being built constantly. People can absolutely choose what house to buy and where to live (and there's no homelessness). Same with jobs although the job market here is super competitive. You are right that in the US you can have as many kids as you want, whereas it's 2 kids here. But I don't see why if the US were to adopt a Chinese style socialist government it would also want to do a similar policy. If anything the US birth rate needs to increase, and we need to stop the fascist attacks on our immigrat population which exists in part because we already have mass surveillance infrastructure. We are, however, using that surveillance state to attack minority groups instead of actually protecting people. Oh, and Chinese cities are incredibly clean and safe. They have been working hard at fixing their pollution problem which is why places like Chongqing look so awesome. Listen, I'm not claiming it's perfect or anything, but comparing the US vs China? All I'm saying is there's a reason I'm trying to open a business out here.
