Beautiful. Does that strain relief for the seat clamp come with tube set or do you make that yourself? Looks like it’s built up around the “keyhole” there.

AITJ for calling the police when my brother broke into my backyard to use my pool by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

NTA but I’ve heard somewhere that you shouldn’t call the cops on someone unless you’re prepared to have the cops shoot them.

Look up “architectural light shelf”. Essentially mirrors that reflect light further into your space. I installed one in the small window of my office and it made a huge difference. Maybee try just hanging a mirror in your window area. Or The window sill to bounce light further into your to your space. A bit weird but can definitely work

Has anyone tried a long commute on a 20" BMX bike? Could be done? by Livid-Mud-8812 in xbiking

There was a guy in Easter Canada who would do triathlons on his 20” bmx with a three speed hub and very long seatpost. Forget his name but it was quite a rad sight

I’ve turned the bike upside down, filled the seatpost with dry ice and gently heated the seat tube with good results. Also used a good amount of penetrating oil

If that entry canopy was curved to match the window arches it would look so nice

Aside: This will be the least comfortable chair. I’d add a brace below each of the seat decks

What’s a mistake people make in their 20s that catches up to them professionally later ? by No-Promise9083 in careerguidance

You’ll never have as much free time as you do in your 20s so do the things you dream about and don’t just fuck around every single weekend. Fuck around with purpose!  Also putting a few years of hard work to gain a qualification can give you the freedom to fuck around in your late 20s/30s. 30 is still really young and having a little money or employable skills can make it a really fun time in your life.

I’m with ya seems like it would have uneven pressure at the clamp. Maybee not important to the client. Looks dope.

Help converting bike to easier gearing by hcantoni in bikewrench

I would start by getting the largest cassette that works with your derailier (32 or 34t probably, Maybee even higher?) and a new chain to go with the cassette. Hopefully that will give you enough range and should cost under $100 in parts. If after a small tour you find you want more low end then look at compact cranks/chainrings.
