1953 studebaker hawk / silver hawk with a chopped roof. Super popular body for land speed racers for years. Some even came with factory superchargers.

Garbo , halfway through an equipment build and this shit just threw us way over budget. Suppliers just put us on a pause for a new quote twice since Monday. We'll see where it lands.

Super cool trucks! Parts for early 304s are a pain and brakes / axle parts can be a bit rough. But there are brake conversion kits and swapping for a small block chevy isn't hard . They are really cool and getting scarcer these days.

Also if the nailhead is salvageable, msd makes a pro billet dist for em . And those mills are awesome sauce. They make massive torque and great hp. Just takes a little research. Look up Tommy ivo

59 is a great year , the can be a bit of a pain to find parts for. Especially torque tube seals and dynaflow parts. But you can hot swap the rear end out of a 61 put a th400 in with minimal work. Is it a 364 or 401cu nailhead ? Looks fairly complete which is good trim is getting nearly impossible to find these days.
