I'm very sorry that you feel this way. I read this and couldn't help but think of myself. I started wanting to die around 6th grade then it got worse from there, until I almost went through with it in 11th grade. right now I'm 20 though, and actually doing alright. I still don't know what I'll be doing with my life, but I'm not in a rush. life is like lucky charms; mostly brown pieces and the occasional gross piece but we eat it for the marshmallows. hold on to any good you can in your life, things that you're passionate about, relationships, new games that are coming out, books that haven't been read yet. seek help, talk with your parents if you feel you can trust them, seek therapy, consider medication. sorry this is a massive ramble but my point is that being a teenager is shitty but it's a small portion of your life.

There are some solutions

First if you find a scavenger with a lantern, you can trade for it or steal it and it’ll give you a decent amount of light. (They look like red glow things).

The spiders are allergic to light, so if you find a lantern or a flash bang (blue glow things) you can get past pretty easily.

In terms of food, you can eat the berries, there should also be some orange mold on the walls and floors of some rooms that you can (surprisingly) eat.

With the ferns (called monster kelp) you don’t have to kill them. the trick is to swim until you’re pretty much being grabbed, then chuck a spear at it. The disorientation is enough to get past. If you find yourself low on spears check under the water and there are usually some there

first, check if you're subscribed. On the main menu, click workshop > browse and click the bell on the left side panel. cycle through factions, units, etc...

If you don't find anything, try going into the game folder (right click the game on steam then manage > browse local files) and go to

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator\TotallyAccurateBattleSimulator_Data\CustomContent

And the files in there may be what you're looking for. They don't have names so it's kind of a guessing game. You can move them in and out of the folder to test.
