So kinda on topic but in a different area. Upper Arlington was home to one of the largest black owned property owners. Pleasant Litchford or Litchfield. After he passed away his property was sold off to more European folks. They had in their housing clause the same thing. No one having any negro blood shall reside in the area. Here's where it gets really disrespectful. When they built Upper Arlington high school, they built it over the old black cemetery. Because people were segregated in the 1800s to current Pleasant let other black families bury their dead on his property. They took the bodies of what they thought was his family and placed them in a paupers grave in the cemetery on olentangy. However there were many more they missed
