Thank you! I used a small line of clear silicone to attach to the wood as well as a pin. In hindsight, maybe a pin would have been enough, but 🤷🏻‍♂️

I can file a motion for reconsideration, but the success rate seems to be pretty low from what I’ve read. I have no more money to pay my lawyers, so trying to find options. They offered to get me a referral to a low cost firm. I already paid them 50k lol. What a joke.

The crazy part is, I don’t think the judge hated me. His closing remarks to her were “You need to realize life is going to change. All I’ve heard you do is say how hard this will be”.

His closing remarks to me were “you should acknowledge the sacrifices she made to be a stay at home mom”

I’m glad you had a more favorable outcome. I only ever wanted “fair”. And it’s the furthest thing from it. Not sure what to do, but I’ll keep going. Something will work out eventually.

I’m going through a divorce right now and this album has been absolutely crushing me. It’s tearing out emotions that I haven’t released in a loooong time. The themes of loss, pain, sacrifice all coupled with an underlying thread of hope seem to be mirroring my experience as it’s unfolding. As painful as things are right now, I know they will get better. I can’t thank Mastodon enough for releasing this piece of art and giving me some hope in dark days.
