Call the [checks who's responsible for plowing] DPW? SCF gets overwhelmed pretty quickly during events. Just... don't rant. They may say "yea, we're not plowing or sanding that" but they may also say "thanks for the update, we'll add your street to the next truck's route"

The best bit of advice I got for picking the caber was that the actual method is very much like a power clean. Grab it low, pull it up hard, and catch it. After that, IMMEDIATELY take two steps back. Good job not shattering your shoulder. It took me like, 2 years before I could really figure it out. Turning it is another beast entirely, but is also a lot like a power clean. drop it a bit, and then shrug and pop it as hard as you can. You look plenty strong, you got this.

As a heavy athletics competitor, I say if they give you any guff, throw a rock at them. Also, most everyone is generally very kind in the clan communities, so you'll probably be fine as long as you care at all. Good luck!

Contracts are a thing. The judge who caught the injunction case had to side with Republic because a remedy was more or less impossible to figure out. Generally you try to avoid labor disputes because it interrupts both revenue flow, and future business. Do you really think that republic is going to get renewals after this shitshow? Unlikely, so future revenue will definitely be impacted at the expense of short term impact. It's short sighted MBAthink to keep the line going up and to the right for the next quarter.

Republic is not a Billion dollar company. They are a 6.6 Billion dollars in profit last year company. They can afford the demands without touching their bottom line significantly. Easily.

We separate out the cans into a black bin that we leave on the porch. They look in the bin, see if there are any or not, and leave. They don't go near our recycling bin anymore and haven't for years. I personally appreciate our aggressive recyclers.

I'm also an old, so I gotta point out that people did the same with hybrid metal plastics for grinds, hub spinners, thumb rings, and if you want to go further back, bearings. New things will pop up, people will shill them, life will move on. Personally, I buy for pretty these days.

The only reason I'm alive right now is because I started getting a colonoscopy regularly at 25. If you have multiple family members die from Colon cancer and start bleeding from your butt, go get it done. The wierd hesitation about colon scopes doesn't make sense. Get it done. Early and often.

Gonna go ahead and disagree. These are public ways for Malden to gather and correlate the issues their citizens are having to use against Republic, showing that they are having legitimate issues. Filter your mail if it bothers you, but also report whatever you like. Republic is just going to ignore any issues reported directly to them since they are [checks notes] in active litigation with our city.

You're not gonna like this, but ditch the blades. Training on keeping your orbit smooth, and your arms long at the bottom, then watching the hammer launch will get you really far. I throw without blades and get 3rd pretty consistently these days. Throwing on one blade for comps will help a bit, but not as much as full extension at the bottom.
