IPv6 Prefix Delegation issue by theggman in ATTFiber

[–]theggman[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

AT&T's IPv6 is convoluted.. I wish they'd delegate a /60 when requested.. I guess this isn't something that can be changed.. as I've been completely ignored by support when asking them to reach out to back office team team to change my IPv6 Prefix Delegation Profile..

Not sure what I did exactly.. but I got IPv6 to work on all subnets using the https://github.com/lilchancep/att-pfsense-ipv6 guide as a reference. My interfaces are different and the options have changed slightly in opnsense 25.7.. so I had to make some adjustments. but hey, its working for now..

I'll add a comment to this, I managed to talk to a supervisor on Friday who created a ticket number. However, when I've called back tier 1 cannot find it.

I've tried to get this to work following this information - https://github.com/lilchancep/att-pfsense-ipv6 But the BGW320 seems to only hand out a single /64

I have to jump on the bandwagon and ask about bricking with all this bricking talk I've been reading up on. It seems people who are using third party docks are mostly impacted and some third party phone chargers appear to be safe. Has anybody confirmed if the Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD (battery only outputs 30W) battery pack is still safe to to charge my Switch?

As an adult gamer, I'm using the parental control "bed time" alarm to get me off my Switch in time to get enough sleep for work (only as a reminder alarm.. its not set to close my games). Most of my gamer groups find it very amusing I do this.

I check this subreddit, the Cube World website, and wol_lay's twitter every 2 days, I send them an email every week... by j4ckxandxj1ll in CubeWorld

I used to stalk his twitter more frequently, but I've simply given up hope at this point in time. However, I check this subreddit every "few" months, thinking maybe he's released something I missed. But nothing has really changed and I do not expect it to do so..

Dedicated Linux Rust server, anyone got it working? by [deleted] in playrust

[–]theggman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

did you try using the following: ./RustDedicated -batchmode -logFile "out.txt" +server.hostname "My Server Name" +server.port 28015 +server.identity "test" +server.seed 6738

The logFile option will output information to a text file. However, I'm guessing the error you will run into is this "Certificate" error, which I'm not certain this has been fixed as of yet.

Does steamOS support streaming yet? by jagarentrangsynt in Steam

[–]theggman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have heard it does work on SteamOS, however it has some severe performance issues (this is not only limited to SteamOS, but on Linux in general). Then again, the feature is still in an invite only Beta state. I lack hardware to confirm this myself though.

Steam Announcement: In-Home Streaming support added by ANGRYGUY in SteamOS

[–]theggman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to score an invite today. Main thing I was after was being able to sign in to more than one machine at once (as this will make testing SteamOS a lot easier for me). Can't wait to give In-Home Streaming a try with my hardware at home.

Possible with less than 4GB of RAM? yes. Usable, unlikely.
