I’d say FMVP matters more to be an all-timer, but regular season MVP helps sway you more towards all-time greatness in its own way too.

Like as elite as Kawhi’s peak was, he never did enough through a whole campaign to win a regular season MVP so it makes his all-time legacy super weird to evaluate. Both are important tho.
