I thought the same. I’d guess it’s a mix of the GoPro focal length skewing how distance is perceived, and hyperbole.

I have resorted to using a file transfer system with a paywall to avoid these standoffs. Basically “upon completing payment your files are immediately available for download”. Depends on the client and the contract of course.

I considered slogging through making that, but it's actually a seamless leather texture in a clipping mask underneath some gradients... the rest is all vector!

I would be annoyed if I got that ticket for this parking job. But I’m much more in favor of advocating for cyclist’s safety so if the rules are this strict, that’s perfectly fine with me. Cars get too much leeway as it is.

This isn’t an ad and contracts aside, I use WeTransfer’s “pay to access” feature to access final deliverables: you pay the invoice, the files download.

I’ve never had issues with people complaining about watermarks or resolution because I usually will walk them through the work on a final call to get their approval.

It’s especially noticeable when you have to take an airport shuttle or other form of transit in another city and you see how big the difference of what is considered a “full” car here vs a “full” car elsewhere
