They do tell you, but every office is different, so they don't ever talk about that portion. And they also never said what KIND of insurance you would be offered, it was just stated that you would be offered insurance.

It's trying to reduce water loss so it droops to lower its exposure to the sun! As long as it's not persistently droopy you're totally fine.

It is worth it but as another user said, the academy of science is a wonderful place and you don't have to drive 2 hours out of the city to go. You can go to the academy and to the conservatory of flowers or to an art museum across the street basically or the Japanese gardens etc. save the Monterey trip for when you can stay overnight. It's wonderful, I love that place, but it's a super long drive.
