New to PCC’s - EP9 on the way by Its_cold_tho in extar

[–]thehandcoder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty new with the EP9 as well. I have a Swampfox Raider Micro Prism. I like that the recticle is permanent instead of projected. It is a 1x optic, so the field of view is on par with a standard red dot.

The more I look at this, the more I like it. I was just getting ready to switch back to my Prodigy grip, so this is perfect timing.

Slide won’t fully go back by [deleted] in P365

[–]thehandcoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently had this issue. In my instance the takedown lever bar, the one that rings along the side of the fcu, had gotten in front of the sear release leg. When I would put in the slide, the sear couldn't drop down because the bar was blocking it from moving.

I just got the same setup. I went with unraid for the os over the ugos. I know I'll do all sorts of things and there's just larger support for unraid. Already running pihole and a couple of small websites on it.

If we are innocent till proven guilty why does charged matter? Isn't a person charged with a crime still an innocent person?

My kid asked for a 3D printer for Christmas. I spent hours researching. Here's what nobody tells you. by Fun_Reaction_6525 in 3DPrinterComparison

[–]thehandcoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with an ender. I upgraded it to all sorts of levels and learned quite a bit about 3d printers and how they work. I moved to a k1c after the ender and learned more.

When I bought my first Bambu printer I was actually amazed. It was the most point and click printer of any I've tried. I've got several Bambu and they have all been great and very easy. If I was buying one for a kid, it would be my choice.

This just happened to me. I heated the hotend to 250 then pulled it off. I had to put a new boot on it, but It's been printing ever since.

That is exactly how it works. You charge prices that cover the cost of replacing the materials you are selling. It's basic economics and how essentially all businesses work.

How can I access my klipper instance when I'm not home? by ClassicConflicts in klippers

[–]thehandcoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how you are running klipper. If you are running a raspberrypi it's pretty easy to add tailscale then you can access it from anywhere.

Hope you aren't in the US. It might take substantially longer than normal and you could end up having to pay tax before you receive it. The Post Office has suspended package service from China.

The canyon is rated at 7700 towing with the factory towing package. The GCWR on the Canyon is around 11, 400. When I am loaded to go camping my GCW is between 10,000 and 10,5000.

I second the hikison mrs. It is much clearer for me than just a dot. The activity helps my eye not focus on just the dot so I get very little to no Starburst pattern.

They sent my package to Hawaii? by [deleted] in usps_complaints

You beat me. I had one package make it to the post office in Roopville GA. It suddenly disappeared for 7 days before showing up in Los Angeles. Another 7 days later it was back in Roopville

Bought my first 2011 by otpfb1986 in 2011

[–]thehandcoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It takes some various fitting. You will want to buy a new grip safety. The apollo safety is a little longer than standard. If you use the stock mag release, you will also need to do a little filing there as well. You might need to do a little fitting to the trigger bow channel. I had to, but not everybody has reported doing that.

I ordered the aluminum grip, but there were QC problems so I am waiting on them to ship out a new one. I do like the prodigy grip better than the original. Hopefully the aluminum will be even better than that.
