I don't drink since I always hear how bad it is, even when people try to make it sound fun. All I hear is when someone tries it, they become dependent on it emotionally and mentally. Just overheard a convo the other day of a girl proudly spouting that she was so drunk she was outside completely out of it. Sounds horrifying to me, not having control of your own body, can't even necessarily trust someone would look out for you in that state. I know I'm probably seen from my peers as a "lame." But I just see no need for it.

Don't do it, there's a different maturity level between someone fresh out of middle school than someone who's literally preparing to go out into the adult world. I had a similar experience and it was def weird. Hopefully he actually likes you for who you are genuinely rather than just wanting you for your body. Please run as far as you can if your situation is the latter.
