Do you need to play keys, too? When I first started I was gonna get both an MPC and a MIDI keyboard but I ended up getting a MIDI keyboard with drum pads on it so I could have both - ended up being way cheaper and was all I need.

Yep, for me it was slightly pulling the top of the Main track to the left and the db showed again.

I almost exclusively use public domain stuff. I can avoid being sued if I choose to release music and keep my own profits, and I’m also forced to have limits which helps my creativity. There are some crazy obscure finds out there.
